Throughout the Bible we are shown a way of living and existing with one another. However we are also show that evil not only exists, it persists and grows like cancer over time, until it must be reset back to its place and balance is restored. Through that process, the Bible reminds us that these are God’s fights, and that our role is not for selfish gain but as part of GOD’s plan of managing evil. No story tells this better in my opinion then the story of Jericho in the Book of Joshua.
